Lucknow, Sept 2026 : Amid heavy rains and natural disasters in Uttar Pradesh, relief assistance is being provided promptly to affected families following the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Agriculture Minister and district in-charge minister Surya Pratap Shahi visited families affected by strong winds and heavy rain in Ayodhya and Basti, expressed his condolences and assured them of all possible assistance

Acting on the Chief Minister's directions, Shahi handed over cheques of Rs 4 lakh each to affected families from the state's Disaster Relief Fund within 24 hours of the incidents
